Was here for breakfast after seeing it advertised on Facebook and fancied going somewhere different. Was a great decision as the breakfast was spot on! Decent prices and good service. Will come back for sure!
A good value, clean and comfortable room. The room size wasn't really big but more then enough space for a night's stay. No issues with my stay though other than a little noise coming from the pub downstairs (not excessive though) Parking is limited but I squeezed into a corner space. Breakfast is only available on the weekends. There is a shop and a takeaway across the road.
The staff were lovely and helpful. They went out of their way to help us and also made sure we had a parking space upon arrival and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this inn to everyone. And the rooms were very clean.
Very disappointed. We paid £160 for a double room, sadly the very well presented room was on the main road making it very noisy and because the room had just been decorated the paint fumes were over powering and gave us both headaches. We couldn't keep the window open because the noise was so loud from the road below and with the window closed it was still loud. We got barley any sleep. I just feel it was a lot of money for a very noisy stay.
Absolutely loved my stay at this fabulous hotel. It has everything one could want to be comfortable. The room was immaculately clean as was the en suite. The shower was easy to use and hot and the owners had thought of everything. There was shower gel , shampoo and soap plus a sewing kit for emergencies and two plastic beakers in the en suite. The bedroom had a hairdryer in the drawer, television and a kettle with a plentiful supply of milk, tea, coffee and sugar plus some small, delicious biscuits. The beds were warm and comfortable with spotless bed linen and ample wardrobe space for a short stay for two. We were in a delightful annex with just two double rooms so, as we were all family, it was great. In the morning we chose breakfast from a varied menu which was home- cooked and delicious. I had tea, also, and was most impressed that there was a small container provided for each table for the tea bag and the wrappings from the milk, sugar, etc. The owners were so welcoming and did all they could to make us comfortable and their Christmas decorations both inside and outside were lovely. All this for an extremely competitive price. Many thanks to all. I can't wait to come again. Photos in the private car park.
