Unspoilt and unchanging little local up steep hill from village square - also known as the 'Top Pub'; friendly atmosphere and good mix of customers, well kept Black Sheep, Hambleton and Leeds Pale, no food, two coal fires; open all day.
A very nice friendly local pub.Does not do food but this is made up with the good ale, whats not to like with Morrettis!!!
Friendly staff. Tuesday night was very quiet. You can pay by card. Great place for meetings Ng of our local parent group as there is a separate room you can book.
Lovely, welcoming village local. Arrived early and was given a warm welcome by landlady when she opened up bang on time. Cracking, homely little pub, friendly locals and nice ale... Highly recommended.... will call again when in the area on my travels...🍻 🚴
A throwback and an endangered species. Family run rural/village pub with 2 small lounge rooms, real fire, cosy upholstered bench seating, and a couple of handpulled real ales. Good view of the church tower by the bar room window. Be aware the pub doesn't offer meals and there are afternoon /evening opening hours. If you're in the area or anywhere near it, in fact, it's a must visit.
Outstanding pint at an outstanding price. Perfect for a pre-wedding beer. Farmers Blonde kept very well. Could've stayed all afternoon.
