No frills, no food pub. What you see is what you get. Reasonable prices too!
Best pub in town and chepest to. And the karaoke on a Saturday night isn't bad either
As a pub should be. No pretensions, just a good old fashioned place for a quiet pint. Landlady and clientele,friendly and very helpful

This is a pub. There is no 'theme', no gastro, no bar menu nonsense (unless dry roasted peanuts, industrial pork scratchings and pickled eggs is your idea of a 3 course meal... Which come to think of it...?). It makes no apologies for being a boozer, and neither does it need to, for a mighty fine ale house it is, serving well kept beer at a decent price and a unique collection of shortbread, colouring pencils, boxes of mixed chocolates and Elvis paraphernalia. (I kid you not, but if you don't believe me you'll have to go check it out for yourself! 😎)
