I liked it. Great village pub with good Gunness
Chose this pub as had sky sports. Visited before watching Needham at Alvechurch. Very very friendly atmosphere. We were well looked after and a great bit of banter. Returned after the game into the other bar. Locals all enjoying their Saturday evening and all very friendly. Well recommended if you’re looking for somewhere before/after the football. Would not hesitate in re visiting
Cracking little country pub with a great choice of drinks. Friendly landlord and locals. Large screen TVs outside in a covered patio area with live football showing. Looking forward to returning. 5*****
Attend this pub recently and found the service to be non existent. While waiting at the bar to order no alcoholic drinks we were told by the bar maid we could not be served even tho other people, locals were being served and after 23:30, all while the landlord is sat down drinking a pint of beer. The landlord was rude, un professional, and would recommend attending school for manners and people skills. This is not a family oriented place, nor are outside people welcome in the pub. The landlord made us feel very unwanted and hide behind the barmaid which shows just what kind of person is in charge of the pub, one very rude little man, I can only guess he suffers with little man syndrome. After leaving and going back to the car we noticed through the pub window more locals were being served, at this point it was way after 11:30, clearly breaking his licence rules. Again shows what kind of person is in charge of this pub. I would avoid this pub at all costs unless you are a local. Very disappointing to receive such poor service in front of my friends AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! Apparently I was intoxicated via the comment below using CCTV images, think someone needs glasses or new CCTV, as I can not drink for medical reasons. My friends were not drinking due to being on call or they were driving. Think someone is telling fibs!! Especially when most of us were driving and

The canalside Weighbridge Pub in Alvechurch Worcestershire was once the old Weighbridge office for offloading coal barges to horse and cart for local deliveries.
