It’s definitely a locals-type pub but there’s nothing wrong with that — I liked the decorations hung on the wall here
Local pub with local ale and local people, with a really unique band who were great fun and eclectic variation in music.

We called in here for a drink on a Tuesday afternoon. Bingo was in session. It was a great fun filled and entertaining afternoon. Thanks so much for all the laughter. Dog friendly too, thanks
Only 2 cask ales, both from the same brewery. Tried one - it was OK. They don't do food. Or at least not on the Tuesday (market day and during the Buxton International Festival) when I was there. Had to endure the bar staff and everyone else in the pub doing a crossword out loud. Won't be back. I know you're not a restaurant but you do advertise you do food. If you don't, take the sign down.
