Visit The Wheatsheaf in Woking for authentic British cooking and real ales in a genuine local pub warmed by a cosy fire.
We make fantastic pub food, using carefully-chosen ingredients from the best suppliers across the UK. On our seasonal menu you’ll find pub classics such as Posh Fish & Chips, alongside new originals like our delicious Chicken Tikka Achari and mouth-watering Aberdeen Angus Beef Burger
Our Sunday Menu offers a roast as good as you’d make a home (always served with everyone’s favourite - Pigs in Blankets) and our fixed price menu gives you brilliant value for money, all day. We also have lots of healthier options, like our Roasted Butternut squash & sweet potato Salad. The only question is, what can we tempt you with?.

Can’t comment on the rooms as didn’t stay but the pub was lovely, welcoming and couldn’t fault the service. We had a group booking for a meet up with friends and we were placed in a good spot with plenty of room to accommodate our dogs and a newborn baby. The food was also delicious and at good value. No complaints from us. I had the gammon roast and had a big chunk of meat and the gravy was tasty. Yum!
Absolutely spectacular stay. Grace was an extremely accommodating and generous host, displaying genuine interst, enthusiasm and attention to detail in every way. Always greeting us with a smile and conversation, she made our stay feel as if we were staying with family rather than a hotel. Grace is an absolute credit to Wheatsheaf.
Max is phenomenal! Amazing service, catered to my every need. Always happy to help and delivers excellent service every time. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone. 5 stars all round!
Wonderful pub - ideally located a short walk from the train station. Hosts a pub quiz every Thursday which is a lot of fun and well executed. Staff are always warm and helpful! Max & Grace in particular are always ready to provide assistance, put a smile on your face, and pull a cracking pint! Can’t comment on the rooms as I haven’t stayed.
Travelled down Friday night from the Midlands to stop over before heading off to Thorpe Park on Saturday. The staff here are absolutely lovely. So accommodating and sweet to talk to. Checked into our room which was absolutely gorgeous and amazing to stay in. Had a drink at the bar before heading off to bed. And then finished the stay off with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the managers name but she was great and super helpful, as well as the staff we saw in the morning. Would definitely recommend coming here for a stay or even just a drink.
