This pub re-opened in September 2011 with Sarah and Ade taking the helm.
Live music, every six weeks and theme food nights every 6 weeks. Mauritian influenced food with a popular Sunday roast (not summer) and curry night every Wednesday. Proving popular and with a growing reputation for real ales from the local community and beer drinker alike. Three ever changing ales with one usually from a LocAle scheme. Happy hour on real ales 5pm - 7:30pm Mondays and three 'Meet the Brewer' evenings each year. There is a rear garden with a children's play area and a patio at the front of the pub.
Great local pub! Friendly staff and warming atmosphere!
Nice little pub with friendly staff and nice locals, the price of the drinks also helps with a little visit.
It's a lovely little pub with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and very cheap drinks!
Great local pub with friendly staff, well priced and good quality beers, dog friendly with a treat jar on the bar and water down.
The hospitality here is great. The staff are welcoming, friendly and so is the crowd at the bar. Dogs are welcome and there were a few well behaved pups around. Ambience-wise it's a bit bare and clinical. Drinks are average price for the area. The food is OK, menu included starters and pizzas only.
