Visited for a family diner when my brother was on a long layover. Bar and restaurant area were both first rate, and the staff were more than helpful in accommodating a large party of 10. Food was excellent and would definitely visit again
Absolutely beautiful aesthetic and extremely welcoming owners. Came out to say hello to our puppy with treats and took the time to speak to us. Lovely garden with some gorgeous fish. Can't wait to come back for the Sunday roast.
Good food and service, quite a quiet atmosphere. Lovely Sunday roast and trout sashimi. Helpful with allergies.
Probably the best "pub" lunch I've had. I say that with inverted commas because their menu is pretty niche and simple to choose from. Excellent quality food and fantastic setting on a lovely summer's day. As you walk in via the car park, you'll see a large fish tank with an abundance of koi which is a nice feature. Excellent value and highly recommend if you're passing by the area.
Had dinner there the other night and had the filet steak and scallops. I am very happy with the food, and it is probably the best gastropub in the area after the decline of the Carpenters Arms in Sunninghill. Interestingly, they still cook their chips in beef dripping. Long may this continue! I have a mild but annoying allergy to vegetable oils (also, they are terrible for you), so I am grateful I know a restaurant that can cater to that. I have added them to the Seed Oil Scout app, which rates restaurants on whether they use vegetable oils or not (best being ones that don't).
