Popped in for a quick lunch on a Monday so was a bit quiet as expected. Nice country pub in lovely surroundings. Nice garden for summer drinks. Staff were lovely and served us well. Food was tasty and surprisingly filling for a light lunch. The pub is dog friendly and has a pool table. Would recommend a visit we will definately be back. 👍🙂
A superb place to eat! The service is always very professional and the staff are courteous and so friendly. An excellent menu and a good choice of food which is cooked to a very high standard and presented well. My friend and I look forward hugely to a meal here on a Sunday: it's like home from home. A very successful pub run by Ann and her lovely staff. They deserve to be praised. Thank you Ann and Sue
Thank you to Michelle and the team. We joined our friends to watch the Rugby World Cup Final. We were all decked out in our Springbok [South African] supporters gear. It poured with rain outside, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. A wonderful evening down to the last minute, we had burgers and onions rings, they were lovely….
We turned up on a sunday early afternoon without a booking and the staff were super helpful to offer us a place to sit. The main restaurant area looked fully booked. Sat towards the back we had starters and main and the food took quite a while to arrive. Overall: Very good tasting pie and good portion for the Sunday roast. However the time it took took the edge off our hunger and a bit of the heat off the roast! We were really happy to head home as there was a bit if a draft where we sat, probably worth booking in advance
I popped into the Bull Inn back in April at the end of a section of the Vanguard Way walk. Was just nice enough to sit outside. The ploughman's lunch was delicious with good quality ham and a wedge of cheese My friend had a wrap which he enjoyed. Very happy to give five stars as the service was excellent and all the staff there were polite and helpful. Would probably do the next section of the walk in reverse so I can go back!
