Have been here many times,we go back because it's cheap,family and dog friendly.just after Christmas there was no toilet roll in the ladies just packs of napkins???why didn't someone walk to coop over the road??I've read rumours that it's to close and is just about ticking over u til greenkingdecide what to do with it. It's always busy. The decor/maintenance is awful with water stained walls,peeling wallpaper and appears to be crumbling.food is hit and miss during last summer we used to take bets on what food we ordered would be in stock because 80-90%of the menu was unavailable.there seem to be new managers every couple of months. What could be a really lovely pub is totally unloved. greenking menu is affordable and the pub is the better of two within walking distance of home with our small children . We have had to send back meals that shouldn't have been served to a dog,let alone a human but we've also had some really good pub meals.agyer we tried to order cocktails off the menu in the last couple of weeks and they didn't have the drinks to make those cocktails

I have many fond memories of this pub, it was my first local when I moved to Guildford all the way from Australia 25 years ago while I was in my 20's. I worked at one of the companies in the business park across the road so there were many extended lunches spent here with work colleagues, usually with a sneaky pint or two! Last week I returned to Guildford for the first time in 20 years, so I dropped in for a quick beer and to reminisce about old times. It was just as I remembered it. Thanks for all the good memories, Bridge!

We are neighbors of the bar, we really enjoy going to play cards, have dinner with friends or just when you're tired in the evening after work. There are many food options, and some very good deals too. I recommend 💯.

Really good pub grub! And friendly staff! The chips came piping hot, definitely freshly made. Had a great time there!

Came in recently and the place was pretty quiet so we had no issue getting served promptly and the food was delicious. We were brought out the meals by the lad who cooked it which was a nice friendly touch. Just moved to the area so will be making it our new local.
