For over thirty years Pews Bar & Courtyard has been situated on Chapel Street in Guildford Town centre, and is one of the last remaining original public houses of Guildford. Steeped in history, it has been given a complete overhaul in the past year thanks to its new owners, and is once again a top night out.
Pews Bar & Courtyard however does not just serve the best selection of drinks, it has a great mix of being a chilled-out, friendly but lively bar. Great for any event, party or just a after work drink to unwind.

Very busy on Friday evening, although very nice inside and lovely outside sheltered from the rain, with live music 😁
Great IPAs served by very friendly staff. We ordered food from boring burger via the QR code on the table. Really delicious! Generous portions of chips so next time I'd probably order less than one portion per person.
Good place. They had Amazon sports on and there was a monkey in the wall in the toilets. Didn't have any food. Not because of the monkey though.
We popped in here for a couple of drinks before a meal. The service was excellent. Drinks are a decent price and they serve cocktails on tap. There was plenty of space to sit even with the inside being renovated. It got busier as the evening got a bit later and there was a good atmosphere and crowd. Would definitely recommend.
Great bar for the football and food. Friendly bar staff. Spacious and comfortable outdoor area. The food from boring burger is amazing. Live music every Friday evening. Visited this place this evening, working away from home and would recommend a visit. Boring burger offer a deal with a burger , chips and the option of a soft drink or alcoholic. Try it!
