Atmospheric and welcoming pub with friendly staff. We ate here on a sunday evening, and it was still bustling & convivial. Good food & service.

You guys went above and beyond to cater for our small birthday gathering. Increasing the numbers at the last minute, making sure to let us know if any of the food was nearly sold out, bringing out the birthday cake and generally making sure everything was going okay. All this with smiles on your faces and without a problem. Thank you for making a special day even better.
The food was great, the variety of beer was really good. Verity made us feel very welcome and was brilliant overall. The price was right- the atmosphere was nice, what’s not to like! I will definitely be returning.
I love this little pub. At nights it becomes quite lively with the locals. Really nice atmosphere. Took my Nan and Aunty to lunch. We had the calamari and pie and cod washed down with a bottle of Malbec. It was absolutely beautiful. We cleaned the plates. Even my Nan finished everything (and that’s unusual) Staff were friendly and efficient. Also stopped by for a quick lunch. Had a glass of rosé and Scotch Egg. Ended up having seconds, wished I could have had thirds 😋
