One bar corner pub, with a few structural divisions showing that this was once a multi-roomed pub. Militaria (including many weapons) and old photographs adorn the walls and ceilings, having been brought here by the landlord and landlady when they moved from the now demolished Clifton Arms just up the road.
Friendly atmosphere and an excellant pint. No juke box blaring out so you can hear yourself speak.
I always find the service nice and polite. Quiet pub with plenty of memorabilia on the walls.
A nice traditional pub full of local history quiet and friendly
Great food and amazing staff. Must visit!
I visited their 'Rock and Roll Diner' this week. A quaint little add on to the rear of the pub, serves your usual British Cafe fair with a rock and roll decor features plaques of Elvis, Johnny Cash and many others, ther service was prompt and polite
