Here at the Crown & Cushion we pride ourselves on delivering fantastic food with great friendly service and our delicious menu offers a selection of your pub favourites and Chef’s Specials for you to enjoy. With a great wine list from around the world and a dedicated Veggie & Vegan, NGCI Menu (non gluten containing ingredients) and Children’s Menu we have something for everyone. Our delicious Sunday Roasts are served until 5pm every Sunday in the main pub. We also have our indulgent Sunday Carvery in the Meade Hall.
Our back garden with its heated Garden Pods overlooking the cricket pitch and lovely covered patio areas make it the perfect spot for alfresco dining all year round.
We’re very lucky to have the impressive Meade Hall adjacent to the pub! A fabulous 16th Century Medieval banqueting hall built in the late 60s using original beams and structural pieces from two middle aged barns; known to have come from Salisbury, that is the perfect location for your next event.

Fantastic country pub with everything you could want. Incredible food, great service. You can book really nice heated pods. Friendly staff. Free parking and within a nice area
Nice place to go out. Relaxing atmosphere and good service. Very good food = recommended. Only suggestion would be to have something for kids. My daughter was bit bored waiting for meal. Some kind of playpaper for the little ones.
We sat outdoors in the heated pods which are great, very warm for a cold winter day, service was good and the menu has a wide range of options including gluten free and vegan, food was good bit for me the ribs weren't as good as I've had before but my friends ham, egg and chips went down well.
Our sons wedding was held here. It was truly stunning venue. Very medieval with loads of atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hog roast was amazing. The venue was set out perfectly. A truly wonderful place.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Crown & Cushion and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my meal. The food selection was great and the people working there were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I decided to go for the pork ribs mountain, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. With a whopping 2800 calories, this dish definitely lives up to its name, as they slice 2 ribs and assemble them into a mountain shape. But don't let the high calorie count deter you, as the taste was absolutely amazing. The ribs were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the presentation was unique and impressive. Overall, I highly recommend the Crown & Cushion for their delicious food and lovely atmosphere.
