Only went for a couple of drinks with a friend, we didn't eat, but think I'd like to try food there. Ambience on Friday early evening was lively, busy but welcoming. We sat outside, plenty of outdoor benches and booths... small car park, but plenty of on street parking available lovely pub, would definitely go again.
We had a late afternoon visit and had a bar snack (probably lunch bits that were still available!) with a drink. A quirky, cosy place that obviously filled with local 'workers' as the day went on. There was a nice feel to the place and we felt 'at home' there.
Always polite and a good atmosphere... Popped in a few times now for a drink as enjoy the outdoor sheltered seating. The staff are great and they seem to have a good crowd of regulars which helps create a friendly atmosphere. Not serving food at the moment, but worth stopping by for a drink
Good traditional old style pub, if you like that sort of thing. Good selection of beers including real ale. decent food selection. Staff are very friendly and helpful
