Located in the county town of Stafford, The Sun is firmly placed within the heart of the town’s community. There’s always a conversation to be had in this comfortable retreat which is regarded as the ‘local’, even if you aren’t a Staffordian!
The Sun has a great menu with home cooked dishes to fill the hungriest of bellies and has weekly food offers from pie night to steak night – perfect with a pint of Titanic ale!
With 12 hand-pulls there’s a great range of ales on the bar, guest ales are on a regular rotation so always something different on the bar to try.
Recently opened, The Sun Deck is a wonderful covered, outside space to the rear of the pub which is ideal for al fresco drinking or dinning. The Sun Deck has it’s own bar which is open at busy times offering a selection of draft, canned and bottled craft beers. With a retractable ‘sun roof’ for summer days and heaters for cool nights, this addition to The Sun provides the perfect setting for catching up with family and friends.
The Sun holds a biannual beer festival which historically have taken place in May and August. These events are great for beer lovers and live music lovers alike, after all these two things do go hand in hand! Keep an eye out for the next beer festival as it’s not to be missed.

Just called in for a pint of porter with a friend. I have not yet found a bad Titanic pub. The beers are great, the staff on duty were friendly and funny. We didn't eat on this visit, but lots of people were.
Always good for a pint or two. it is located at the South end of the centre but is good for places like the cinema and any number of restaurants. i am getting older and i like the fact that all ages frequent the pub. the service is usually very efficient.
Everything about this pub is brilliant. Varied selection of ales, my particular favourite has to be the Titanic Stout. Although their lager was a close second. Both so incredibly easy to drink. Also sampled the food. Cooked with care and big portions. Recommend the Gourmet Hot Dog, excellent value for money. Despite being located in Yorkshire, will look for any excuse to return.
Very nice place to be if you want to taste the local beer (I would recommend the Titanic Plumb Porter) and have good pub food. I would recommend also to the male audience to visit the unique curiosity installed in the toilet... Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean and tidy.
Visited for the first time on a Tuesday lunchtime. Very nice inside, obviously full range of Titanic beers available,But also a couple of guest beers on cask and keg. Had something to eat, very nice food, only a typical pub style menu but it was absolutely delicious and very good value for the money. Definitely worth a visit.
