Roger and Wendy's love for The Sun & Slipper is reflected in the service and the wonderful food, making this the perfect venue for a quiet lunch, dinner or a fun evening out with family and friends.
Roger & Wendy welcome you to the Sun & Slipper Inn
The Sun & Slipper is situated in the country village of Mamble in Worcestershire, some ten minutes from Bewdley.
For the past TWENTY years Roger and his family have re-built not only the business but also invested hundreds of thousands of pounds into the beautiful Grade II listed building, resulting in not only an attractive inn at the very heart of the village but also a full service a la carte restaurant, serving delicious home cooked food with true English flair in a beautifully refurbished restaurant.
Whilst retaining the traditional feel of the inn with exposed beams, traditional farmhouse tables and an open fireplace, the restaurant now also has a light spacious, comfortable feel - complimented by friendly attentive service, under the experienced eye of the restaurant manager Wendy, Roger's wife.

Brilliant food and excellent service. Friends and I went for Sunday lunch. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was an excellent choice of Sunday roasts and a good selection of other very nice meals. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The toilets were also very clean. It's worth noting that the ladies' toilet is down a couple of steps. Would I go again? Definitely.
Excellent place. Beautiful surroundings, inside pleasant dogs with a waggly welcome. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Friendly and efficient staff. All tables full, everyone enjoying themselves.
My father celebrated his 77th birthday here. I called ahead to pay because I live in Canada and the woman was very helpful. My parents said the food was amazing. A calm and relaxed atmosphere. The only complaint my mom had was that they wouldn’t sell her the two St Bernard dogs that were there haha.
Our first visit to this lovely pub, Thursday Lunchtime treat for my birthday. We were looked after by Wendy front of house, Becky from the kitchen served our delicious , well presented food, wished I'd taken photos. Thank you Ben Edwards for recommending this lovely pub, we will definitely be back( a lot) xx
It is a lovely pub, with a real fire burning away. They had a large party in the restaurant, so we were waiting quite a while for food ( hence 3 stars for service) as we were in the bar with our furbabies. They did apologise, but it lessened our true appreciation of this lovely pub. However, if I was in the area, I would pay them a visit again.
