Great rural pub. Don’t really want to post this as I do want it to become too popular!! Good selection of well kept beers.
We went to the fireworks display last night 5th November 2023. The atmosphere was good and the display was excellent. The only let down was the food the hot dog and burgers that were on offer were served cold and bland no sauces the burger slapped in a dry bun and the hot dog was stone cold and the onions were also stone cold. For £5.00 each was very disappointing. Will eat at home next year before coming. Will definitely go again minus the awful food.
Lovely little pub good atmosphere we popped in while on a run in our friends Halftrack the other weekend. A very friendly busy pub.
Delightful village pub with friendly and accommodating staff, wonderful home-cooked food with gluten free options. Local ales and great atmosphere, dog friendly! Campervans welcome on adjoining field, great stopover for visiting Sutton Hoo with a country footpath leading there. A real hidden gem!
Great village pub where polite customers get really well looked after. While living not far away we only discovered the pub when recommended by a friend of a friend. We had our wedding reception there and Stephen and Gaynor were so accommodating with all the last minute menu changes and gave us lots of time to be sure we knew what we wanted. The beer here is always good, the food is lovely and plentiful, and staff really helpful. They now have Sheperds huts to rent which are lovely for couples to escape to.
