Great bar staff, popular place with live music
Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a couple of beers and a game of darts with a friend. Great service, good beer and reasonably priced. The darts set up is also the best in town.
Was in the other night having a laugh then decided to go on the fruit machine and managed to win 120+. Jon the owner then came over and switched it off as it had a fault which he shouldn’t have done. Got mugged off by the owners of this place they didn’t give me the money that I won they claimed I only won £8. would not recommend . Full of coke heads even the owners like to do it themselves then kick others out for it .
Hello all, just be aware that if you are under 25 they don't like don't like you drinking in the tavern. I went down the town for a drink with my friends and got kicked out of the north Street tavern for ordering a coke cola. Edit: As mentioned to you before I did not witness the laying on the bench as I was inside your establishment not outside. I Only had a coke, was not drunk and would not use foul language especially with a child present, the only child in the pub at the time who wasn't on their best behaviour anyway was your own. As far as I am aware the one time a bottle was banged was when my friend was bumped into.
Went to see GBUJ ...one of our fav bands ...not really a big enough venue to have a right good boogie ...but, I tried my best and still had a great night!!!
