Great place for a quick drink and food before our boxing day afternoon walk. Brilliant service and good range of drinks and food for the entire family.

Great place, lovely food and excellent people working there. Lady at breakfast said chef wasn’t there and she could only do eggs….she did brilliant four fried eggs on toast each and lovely coffee.

When you walk in what you see is a pub that is exactly like a good old, 600 yr old, traditional pub should be like. We arrived at exactly 12.00 on a Saturday lunch time and it was almost full which says a lot. The service, food and drink were all great and because we went out of season there wasn't anyone wearing pink chinos with a jumper tied round their neck accompanied by someone wearing dubarry boots and riding trousers. Definitely visit.

Lovely location with plenty of inside and outside seating. Good beer, but food is a bit limited. Had the belly pork, which was quite tough and fatty. Fine pub if you want the usual fish and chips or scampi.

Far too overpriced for what you get, food was avarge at best tasteless at its worst, don't bother with the squid it's over cooked and tasteless, the rest was just bland. And £1.70 for half pint of cordial is absolutely mental. The price for a bottle of cordial is less then that. Absolute rip off won't be going again
