Really good real ale pub. Price of beer is very good too. Will definitely again visit when in the area 😊 didn't have food just ale
First time visiting and won't be the last. My husband has been a couple of times and said how nice the pub was and the real ale. He liked it enough to get some to bring home, I bought chicken wings to bring home and wow, they are huge and very tasty. Definitely recommend
The atmosphere is friendly and lively, with live music often playing most weeks. This pub is usually busy most days of the year and gives off a good vide with all walks of life visiting. Undoubtedly the busiest pub for miles around here, and there’s a reason why; a huge selection of beers, a lot of which are either brewed on site or sourced locally and the food is banging and everyone that drinks or eats here are amazing.
Awesome pub. Great atmosphere. Very friendly crowd. Brilliant service. Top notch grub. Highly recommend 👍 😊
Exceptional service, which was conversational, welcoming and engaging. There were some innovative beer options alongside the regular choices, really well thought through. Pub is clean and it feels like a proper community pub which is accessible to all. Very impressed.

Hello, since 2007 we've owned and run The Castle Inn. The Inn itself dates back to at least 1566 so we're proud to be playing a small part in its history whilst hopefully moving the tradition of inn keeping forward.
