Wonderfully charming little pub right on Aldeburgh beach. Directly opposite the historic Moot Hall, with easy walking access to the High St and Aldeburgh cinema. Old wooden pub, good menu, nice selection of beers & wines and a spot on location.
We just come back home after a quick lunch stop in Aldeburgh. Staff was super friendly and the food really good. We loved the cajun chicken, was really good. We will definitely return next time we are in the area
We visited at lunchtime today, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. It was a beautiful warm day, so they reserved a table for us so we could sit outside until our food order was ready. We chose from the light bites menu, it was very tasty and well cooked and presented. Well done to the two lovely guys on duty, a very pleasant experience.
Really great pub in the centre of Aldeburgh. Burgers were great, and communication from staff over food wait times (really not that long) was exemplary. One note of caution, we went on a Saturday night and had booked ahead. It was fully booked and busy so if you are thinking of going, I'd recommend booking.
Dinner for 5. Really excellent food. Great variety on menu and reasonably priced. Had the Wagyu burger special which was awesome! Ales kept perfectly. But most of all, top marks to the two guys behind the bar and waiting tables at the same time as well. Worked really really hard. I hope you pay them well. Thank you. Recommended.
