Used as a base for Glensee Skiing and lovely cozy place with a nicely decorated room and a great shower, recently renovated bathroom. Lounge, bar and dining room cozy and staff friendly and efficient. Cooked breakfast was good, although buffet a bit limited, nice bread though. Honesty bar in the evening well stocked and board games available. They have put a lot of effort in to make the place warm and welcoming.
The King room is enormous in this lovely old building. Wonderful room to stay, complemented by a delicious breakfast (gluten free requirements well catered for too), and a lovely host. Very quiet location and a short walk to the tiny village. Would recommend.
Beautiful location. Room was fantastic, breakfast legendary! Hosts are very friendly and accomadating, made us feel at home.
Loved the location. The service. Atmosphere etc. The new owners are so helpful. I had one of the cottages, which was beautifully done. A lovely room. My friend had another cottage, but although it was nicely done. It wasn't up to the same specification. The rooms were cold overnight. But after taking with the new owner in he morning. It was felt that because we had booked so late, the heating had gone on late in those rooms. and even though the radiators were toasty hot. The rooms were big and hadn't fully warmed through. If you go in the winter. Take something warm fr during the night. Otherwise, the place is great I loved it and would like to go back. With a heated blanket 🙃
The lodge is beautiful it’s clean cozy and very comfortable. The bedrooms are very spacious nicely decorated with everything you needs and the beds are very comfy. Hosts Paul and David were lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing!! I would highly recommend a visit.
