I personally am not a fan of Edinburgh night life scenes being from Thailand but Stramash was a fun place to spend your night out with friends. The live music was great. They also host Ceilidh on certain days so if you’re a fan, you must join!
Didn't have any concrete plans last NYE, but I came across Stramash on Maps, and I am so glad I did! They had a free gig before midnight, and I got to do a bit of celebration because of them! Amazing crowd, great performers, I loved the beers and ciders! Truly an amazing experience for me, I had to go back the next night for some more. Will surely return!
Nice cozy place with live music right by royal mile. Interesting venue.
Fantastic live music venue...3 live bands per night and free entry. There are also areas you can reserve if you have lots of people. Try to get there before 10pm to avoid the one out one in door policy.
We were just passing by and saw this church converted into a pub. Inside we saw that beautifully decorated maintaining many of the features but giving a new life with quality live music venues. I would recommend to visit even to have some drinks.
