Parsnip a little under cooked. Roast potatoes not crispy and no alcohol free lager. But great portions and very nice. Would go back. Maybe try something else on menu.
Over visiting my wife's family in Finingley and popped in for a couple of drinks. Lovely beer enjoyed in a lively fun atmosphere. Here for a few days so will make sure to pop back boxing day for a few more beers.
It was quite random tbh. They served us what we asked for, and then they said to other customers that they couldn't order sandwiches, toasties, or pizza. We were in there when it opened and ordered what we wanted, but other people were not allowed to order what they wanted due to it apparently being so busy. Just found it hard to comprehend as you would think that they would want to give good service.
Just had lunch from the over sixties menu, the food was fabulous and very reasonably priced! Lovely decor and ambience and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
Went for Sunday lunch with the family and wow I must say it's probably the best roast I've had since my grandma's would highly recommend. The starters was spot on, I got 2 children's roasts and they were massive, could have shared 1 never mind 2, so yes get yourself down for a super lunch
