We have been here a couple of times now and the food and service has been excellent every time, I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back.
Love it here! It has become our new regular, and we are so pleased. Great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. Loads of events on, like live music and quiz nights.
Booked in last minute for 8, the owner was great fitting us in at short notice. The food was exceptional and really affordable! The burgers were great, really generous portions and the chips were great. Kids meals were the same, really good quality, great portions and really affordable. Really lovely place with a lot of history and character and the staff couldn't have been any more welcoming aren't friendly
An excellent "local hostelry". The staff were welcoming and friendly. Food and beer were both good. Stilton and mushroom starter.
Great Sunday lunch and very accommodating staff. Nice selection of beers and wide range of tables inside and outside in the beer garden. The young serving staff were really helpful too.
