Friendly and warm - a hidden gem
The Star Inn is a traditional urban public house run as a co-operative. This pub has it's own brewery that supplies it with its house bitter, Starry night ale.
A real traditional pub with lovely staff and the selection of drinks is far better than most chain pubs. With more than 160 years of history it's one of my favourite places for a drink.
A small local pub in Salford. The locals were nice and excepted me straight away. Very friendly staff and fair prices. Karaoke on Friday.
Hidden gem. Friendly pub, drinks selection was ok, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, chilled crowd.
Cracking little boozer, well worth the slight detour off the main road. After going to see Rotherham in a friendly at the Pemnsula, it was the perfect post match stop off before the bus. Great beer and great staff. Definitely a "friendly"
Friendly atmosphere and very friendly bartender, kind of a social club / working men's feel to it. Great price value and a good outdoor space too
