Following my first visit with the Dusty Miller walking group, I called in with the laydee wife for a pint after shopping in town. She very much approved of her visit to the Star Inn
Poor selection of beers . All yellow in colour , too much like lager! No dark beers to sample, especially with the brewery being next door .
Proper pub, not many left these days. Great ale choices all in excellent condition. Lovely bar and plenty of seats in a comfortable atmosphere. Food? Not really which is exactly my point. Give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed.
This is the perfect quiet pub to relax and enjoy a wonderful selection of different real ale's. Such an amazing and welcoming atmosphere. Incredible selection of bitters and very much a visit for an evening of unwinding.
Great little pub that has been supplying quality cask ales for many years now. Good outlet for Taylor's beers, plus other Yorkshire brews. Comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Worth the walk out of town. Recommended.
