Great little pub, cracking good staff - something Wetherspoons always seems to get right. Typical Wetherspoons, what you see is what you get.
Excellent value for money. Busy & a bit noisy but we're able to get a table. Would definitely visit again for a quick meal or coffee.
It's a Wetherspoons. You get what you paid for. Although saying that, they had run out of the large fish and offered me an alternative, which I was happy with. My daughter ordered bacon and cheese with her burger which didn't arrive until I told them it was missing. And her dessert had the chocolate sauce missing, which we just let slide. I'd still go back though.
What helpful, hardworking, and friendly staff there are here. Food is good value for money and very tasty too. There are a number of pleasant places to eat and drink outside.
The staff make this place a pleasure to go to as the service is always really good and prompt. Lots of closed pew seating. The food however is not up to scratch, sometimes it can be really good and on other occasions it can be like your getting the leftovers. It was dry and leathery and came out only a couple of minutes after ordering..
