About us

A huge welcome awaits you at this 17th century traditional village pub,

along with great food and drink.

Situated in the heart of the village, this Grade II listed pub is a gem,

popular with families, locals, real ale enthusiasts and diners.

It is child, bike, dog and welly friendly.

Solid granite walls and two roaring log burners, when chilly create a

cosy comfortable atmosphere.

There is good parking, a stunning covered, decked patio space and a pleasant sunny garden.

We also have 3 comfortable letting rooms let on a room only basis.

The bar is open Monday to Saturday 12noon to 11.00pm and Sunday 12 noon to 10pm

We serve food daily from 12 noon up till 9pm.

Sunday Roast served from 12 noon to 7pm



Our new Breakfast Menu is served Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 2pm

The Menu includes breakfast dishes from traditional Full English to

American style Pancakes with Maple Syrup, brunch dishes such as Eggs Benedict, Sandwiches, Pizzas and Pasties and a full range of Cakes and Cookies

with a selection of Teas and Coffees.

​Come and enjoy a cup of tea served in a fine bone china cup and saucer or a coffee with a slice of cake for only £4.50 and we will donate the entire amount to our Ukraine Appeal.
