Welcome to the Staplecross Inn. We are a family run Public House serving real ales and home cooked food on the Devon and Somerset border. We are between Tiverton in Devon and Wellington in Somerset (On the back roads!)
Real Ales currently served are Tribute from the St Austell Brewery in Cornwall and a guest beer which changes every month.
What a crackin' little pub. Great beers, great atmosphere and fabulous food. A real hidden gem.
Smashing country pub with a good selection of beer on tap, including 2 or 3 real ales.
Great local pub with delicious and reasonably priced food. We were welcomed each time we visited and felt at home here. Visitors and local people use the pub. Service was efficient and friendly. We're looking forward to visiting again
Popped in for a pint of scrumpy a few weeks ago and fancied the food on the menu. We had the brisket, lasagne and rump steak strips with crème brûlée, scrumple and ice cream for desert. All the food was homemade and amazing. Would highly recommend this hidden gem.
Wow, the lady that runs this pub cooks the food. It's amazing! We met our friends here for Sunday roast. Great selection of ales (there was THREE on, it's a small pub) and the atmosphere is lovely. Fire was lit and the roast was wonderful, I had beef my wife, pork. Excellent, will always come back here.
