A dozen years ago it was extended and included the 1st class ladies waiting room with its ornate ceiling, keeping all original features. It’s a veritable museum with photographs of the station in it’s heyday, railway and other memorabilia.

Situated on Platform 4 of Stalybridge Station, the buffet bar is a multi-award winning pub with a fine reputation for service, atmosphere and of course great drinks. Also part of the Transpennine Real Ale Trail.
