We want to make our pub the best community pub in Dorset, run for the benefit of the people of Stalbridge and the surrounding area.
We would like to ask the residents of Stalbridge to tell us what kind of drinks they would like served. We are now a FreeHouse and can cater for all tastes!
As part of our complete renovation of The Stalbridge Arms we will be concentrating on providing different areas for you to relax in and enjoy, whether inside or out, including a new outdoor Bistro Cafe area, a Patio Garden, two new Indoor Restaurant areas and a vibrant Main Bar area.
​We have two Dining Rooms at The New Stalbridge Arms. The Dining Room has been tastefully renovated to both honour the traditional Georgian space and give the room a modern, light and airy feel to it, while maintaining its relevance to the vibrant bar area. The Dining Lounge is a more quiet space with sofa and chairs for relaxing with a drink before your meal. The perfect space for relaxed dining. You can also eat in the Bar area at our raised table seating, perfect for people watching and enjoying a bottle of wine and a few of our lovely starters!.

We rang the night before to book a table for 2 for sunday lunch 2.00 .They were very helpful and took our booking immediately ( Very helpful and friendly). When we arrived we were shown to our seats in a very delightful village pub.When we gave our order they were also extremely very helpful .All food was cooked fresh and to perfection and we didn't wait long.Very reasonably priced food and drinks and fantastic service was given too.They are covid friendly with tables apart as needed. All the pub was clean and fresh.Ive got to say I had a steak dinner and it's the best steak dinner I have ever tasted .Well done to the Stalbridge arms .
After having several bad experiences in a local pub, my partner and I wanted to try a new place that we could go to regularly if we like it. We began going to The Stalbridge Arms around 6 months after the new management took over and what a breath of fresh air they are! The food is phenomenal! The family are just the loveliest, friendliest people who make running the pub seem a breeze (which I'm sure it's not). The staff are truly accommodating and have welcomed our dog as well, with open arms. It's so lovely to call this pub our local and we enjoy every single visit. We've not had one bad meal.
Ok can't complain staff very attentive, well decorated, clean looks like new owners food was very good value 241 on classic pub grub, will return again, only neg is men's toilets are outside,and you have to walk past smoking area, other than that I wish you all the success in the futuređź‘Ť
Great meal , owners very friendly, warm & cosy atmosphere, will be back certainly recommend.
Had a roast there about a month ago disappointed. 3 very small roast potatoes. No parsnips and only 3 small dishes of side vegetables .gravy like water and one slice if beef one of gammon and microwaved chicken was more expensive than other local. Pubs where you get a choice of about 7 veg and loads of roasties. They need to up their game
