Had an exceptional overnight stay here. Landlady went out of her way to ensure our experience was perfect, even giving us a free upgrade to the family room. Highly recommend, we’ll be back

We visited for dinner on Friday, as we were staying at the Air BnB next door. The landlady was super friendly and welcoming. Despite being understaffed front of house, due to reasons out of her control, she did a brilliant job taking it in her stride and serving everyone in what was a busy pub! The food was delicious and fresh - I thoroughly enjoyed the squid starter and fish and chips main. We ended up staying until closing time as we had some friends join us for drinks after - we all enjoyed our beers and the fantastic warm service. I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the local area.

What can I say... It was perfect! Idyllic Somerset small village with beautiful church and rural landscape all around. We stayed in the Family Room in the Stags Head Inn for the weekend whilst attending a friend's wedding at the nearby North Cadbury Court. Room is very well appointed, clean, spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast in the mornings was OUTSTANDING as is the restaurant and bar. But the thing that really sets the pub restaurant and Inn apart is Gill, the owner, and her family. She is so so soooo friendly, helpful, accommodating and kind. She's an absolute ray of sunshine, as was her son Tom also. Fabulous owners of such a wonderful wonderful place. We WILL be back very very soon. Honestly can't recommend the Stags Head Inn. Thank you Gill & family! From Jenna & Simon.

Very friendly and welcoming. Lunchtime menu usual pub food plus 3/4 specials. Excellent food - chips delicious. Another visit - thank you all at The Stag for a truly wonderful roast. The best I have had in a pub ever. Vegetables fantastic.

The staff are super friendly, the pub has a lovely atmosphere, the food is to die for the best roast dinner I have eaten yet, a very beautiful place. Hidden away in the countryside. The owner is friendly and funny no rush to eat your food. The toilets are spotless and the price of the meals are very good. I will be coming back here again. I would highly recommend eating here amazing.
