Spent a week on holiday in St Austell. This was the only decent pub in the town centre that had the real feel of an old time pub. Great staff great customers and I got to meet some real genuine people. Get's my seal of approval!!
Little corner pub ,wooden floors ,black beams autographed by all insundry. jukebox with some good tunes.open real fire. Very friendly staff and locals made us very welcome.
A local pub for local people. Popped in for a pint and was a charming little place. A few locals propping the bar up and the beer was ok. Felt a little uncomfortable being stared at by the locals as it was clear we were not regulars. Only stopped for one which was a shame as it was an alright place but think covid has killed it with a lack of live music on a Friday night. There just wasn't the people.
Very quiet and some very low life undesirable regulars. Landlord was decent enough as far as Landlords go, cant say the same for the Lanlady though. The pub has been known to have some good bands playing there but with CCOVID not possible.
Friendly locals... Good beer.. Nice landlord... Rustic charm. Log fire. A proper locals kind of bar... But they were all super friendly involved us in a bar game. 😊 Nice pint of Tribute and proper job from St Austell brewery. Fantastic pint of guiness too... 👍👍
