First time we ever went here. Friday night and it was not busy. No one talked to us the entire we were there and took an hour for our meal to arrive The carvery was dry meat with mushy vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding that was rock solid. The calzone carvery was burnt on top and undercooked on the bottom and lacked flavour inside Avoid avoid avoid
Very tasty and well presented food, the roast potatoes are the best we've ever had. Plenty of choice at the carvery and it was all cooked to perfection. Staff who served us (we were a party of 7) were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. The pub was warm, clean and all staff were friendly. Prices are very reasonable and quality was spot on ! Will definitely visit again without doubt and wont hesitate to recommend to others. 👌.
The friendliest staff, such good service, food and value for money. Our waitress Sandra tended to our every need with a lovely smile on her face the whole time. Bless her. A good spirit and made our meal that extra bit special.
Went for a birthday meal, poor bar staff were overworked & looked sick, took 30 minutes to order food at the till for 7 meals 🙈 waited a further 20 minutes to receive my beer too after ordering. 2 mains come before the starters and kids meals, absolute pilarva between young “chefs” and waitress to actually get my kids food after waiting 90 minutes then it came with a mix a few fresh dippers and chips & freezing cold, rock hard inedible.at this point we gave up trying get what we paid for. Lovely supervisor(I’m guessing as the manager wasn’t anywhere to manage anything by the atmosphere seen) Abigail apologised & managed the situation as best as she could. I remember why we haven’t been there for a long time it’s gotten worse 🙈 never again
Had a lovely dinner today from Carvery. Meats were perfect. Lots of different choices of vegetables. All nicely cooked. One or two could have been a bit hotter, but nothing to complain about. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good value for money.
