Visited after a recommended and so glad we did. I liked the set up of the pub, an area for people only having a drink, a dining area and another area for larger gatherings. The dining area was warm and comfortable, the staff were welcoming and friendly the service was attentive. The menu was extensive, the food was excellent, home cooked, hot and large portions. I'm delighted to have found a pub that was faultless.
Very nice meals, good portions, beer well kept. They can also cater well for gluten free too. Worth a visit.
The best Sunday Carvery we’ve had in a long time. As close to Homemade as you can get. A choice of Roast Pork, Beef, Turkey and Lamb. The whole meal was outstanding. The Eton Mess is also not to be missed. Can’t wait to go back. Book well in advance!
Went for a birthday celebration at tea time. Everyone was served food at the same time (about 20 people). I ate salmon and prawn salad which was served with warm potatoes on the side. It was delicious. The rest of the pub was pretty empty at the time. I would eat here again.
Moved into the village and was really hoping to get a feel for the local vibe in the pub, and I was not disappointed!!! Amazing food (Sunday lunch) and value, superb hosting from the staff and the owner was a charm. My mum and dad LOVED it too! great quiz night. Look forward to Friday night. Thank you. Oh, and a great aesthetic interior. ❤️
