Staffordshire Grill Country Pub & Steakhouse is housed in the stunning grade II listed The Lion Hotel in the beautiful village of Brewood. We serve a gorgeous varied country pub menu along with a premium 35 day aged British steak selection.
We’re open every day from 12pm serving a delicious lunch menu from £10.95 with a homecooked Sunday lunch being served on Sundays. Our main is available all day every day and includes a selection of country pub favourites in addition to our premium British steaks.
Our bar offers a traditional selection of draught lagers, ciders, ales and a fantastic selection of wines, cocktails and flavoured gins.

Cool but no lions there so little bit confused but nice however the person at the desk said I was silly for thinking there were lions here
Stayed here overnight before a family wedding recently. I cannot say how much we enjoyed our time here! The staff were fantastic & incredibly friendly, food was amazing & our room was so cosy & comfortable. The breakfast the morning we left was superb! Thanks so much! Must also say that the village was beautifully lit up for Christmas. Well worth a visit/stay if you are in the area, would have loved to have stayed longer!

Excellent Hotel & Restaurant. We stayed at the Lion Hotel on route to the lakes, evening dinner and the cooked breakfast was superb. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly. We will be staying here again when we travel to the lakes. Thank you
We stayed on NYE and really liked both the venue and the village. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked so we couldn’t eat dinner there which was a shame as it was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. The room was pleasant and clean and the staff were all friendly, polite and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and we both really enjoyed it. We would be happy to stay there again and can definitely recommend it!
