Popular Victorian back-street corner terrace local, with small basic public bar and a larger smart L-shaped lounge. Interesting etched windows: "VAULTS" for the public bar, "SMOKE ROOM" for the lounge.
Paved patio at rear, with tables and chairs. Weekend meals limited to choice of roasts with accompaniments; filled cobs usually available at other times. Disco. karaoke or live music some weekend evenings; pianist Sunday afternoon.
Sadly this place is due to close it's doors for the last time in June😣😣

Shobnall, Burton upon Trent, DE14
Built in the 1860s, this double-fronted terrace pub was the Truman's Brewery tap until the brewery closed in 1971 (see mirror and pictures in public bar). Various owners followed until it was bought by the Burton Bridge Brewery in 1996.
