Brilliant village pub. Hasn't changed much since my childhood when I grew up in the village. Bar staff were friendly with a good range of beer and a welcoming fire. Just wish I lived a little closer so I could visit more often
Huge thank you to the lovely local bloke who changed my tyre for me in the carpark. I initially asked who I believe were the owners, who must’ve mentioned something to the locals as one lad came out and helped replace my courtesy car tyre. Wouldn’t even take a drink as a thank you! Absolute life saver.
Nice country pub with a warm welcome
Lovely pub with a real fire. Good beer. No food but there are frequent food stalls.
Nice pub, clean and tidy. However the beer was not great and not cheap either but Barton-under-Needwood pubs aren't. Although the bar was warm from an open fire other areas were weren't. Hopefully the central heating will kick in when the weather gets colder. Jury's out as to whether we will be regular visitors.
