Lovely food on the 2 courses for £18.95 menu -masses of meat in the chicken and ham pie and very tasty! Half price fizz on a Friday is a great deal! It was quite empty for a Friday lunchtime but it was a very cold day. Nice that we were sitting next to a radiator!

Fantastic location for a Sunday lunch. Really great venue and beautiful atmosphere. Food was outstanding. Really great local midlands pub.
Rely nice country pub/restaurant. Service was good, attentive without being over the top. Food was good. Had three course between us. Halloumi fries with chilli jam was delicious to start. Went for roast beef dinners as main. Pretty good overall with plenty of flavours. Served nice and hot with tasty vegetables. Yorkshire puddings were nice but seemed like they weren't hand made. Cheesecake desert was good. Coconut ice-cream was delicious but the biscuit base was very thin and soggy. Personal preference is a thicker crunchier biscuit. Wine choice was very good. Very reasonably priced! Will definitely return.
The vegan pie here was incredible! Really impressed with the vegan pie and soup of the day (potato and leek)! Only downside was that we were hoping to be seated in the actual pub but I think dining takes place in a restaurant extension. Would easily recommend 😊
