We had a lovely experience at this place! The Sunday roasts were delicious and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, The staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty Sunday roast."
Me and my family love it here! Can be a bit pricey but the food is really nice l we have always got really good service from friendly and polite staff! It’s a nice place!
Group of us visited last week for a Christmas meal, was sadly disappointed. The servers were very polite and pleasant, however service was slow and it was very cold! Food was also very expensive for the quality of what came out. Had a prawn cocktail to start which was very obviously frozen prawns in a cheap sauce, tried the chicken wings which weren’t terrible. For mains, I had a pie and chips which wasn’t too bad (although the cheap looking veg mix was burned somehow), however one member of the party had the Thai curry and it was terrible. Very overcooked mush with dry microwave rice, most of it was left other than few mouthfuls. Staff did apologise and offer a free drink, but didn’t offer to take the meal off the bill. Majority of the party commented on how poor their meals were as well. Desserts were mediocre but edible, nothing special. Overall very disappointed as we visited here a few years ago and the food was excellent. Sadly looks like the food has gone down hill, making no plans to visit again in the near future.
Went for my birthday. We didn’t get told it was table service so we ordered at the bar. Should of been informed. Main meal delicious, lady that delivered food was lovely. Desserts were disappointing, small portions for high price.
We had a fabulous meal for 4 the food was excellent the best fish pie I have had. The meal portions were very substantial it was piping hot and deliciously home made. The staff were very very pleasant even though they were very busy. The environment/ atmosphere was just a tad lacking but it I had to recommend I would give an overall of 9.0
