First visit to the Don War Pub/museum,and what a gem.Julie has put together an amazing collection of memorabilia from various conflicts.Great bar too! Deserves to win all acollades.Get yourself there and see for yourself.
Fantastic renovation to a derelict building well done. Very very impressive, hats off to everyone involved in the renovation.
Wow! Where do I start, from the warm welcome we receive on arrival to the time we left. The bar is a wonderful memorial to those who have passed. From floor to ceiling it is covered in memorabilia from WW11, there is over 7000 poppies and Rememberance crosses. This is one place you should visit as it's hard to describe. Well done to Julie Cooper the bars owner, can't wait till visit again. 100 out of 100. Brilliant. Just a few pictures of it.
