We booked a table for 1915, yet when we arrived, we were ignored for over 5 minutes, and we were then informed by the manager that there was no booking for us. I had a confirmation email, so we got seated at the bar. We had an exceptionally long wait for our food, and then there was a piece of metal in my husbands meal (it was off the deep fryer). The girl serving us was amazing, couldn't be more apologetic, and arranged for us to have dessert for free. However, she then went on her break, and we waited over 30 minutes for our dessert. When we were finished, the useless manager sent over one of the young lads off the bar to deal with us as he knew we were annoyed. The staff were great and doing their best on a busy evening, it is just a shame they have such a bad manager who offered no back up or leadership.
So first time here came for a little date. Won't lie I actually really liked the place felt posh and well manned. Staff all smart and clearly available when you needed. Checked in with us a few times. Food was great no complaints. The decor like chairs felt very posh bar looked good they had live singers singing . Music was good customers looked happy. We had a lovely first date and I would absolutely eat here again. Thank you to all the staff to served us. Outside garden looked cool and prices were good. Only two things to make this place perfect was toilets need a little TLC revamp little ware and tear. And noticed wall paper damaged or peeling. But the place is great and for a Friday night very busy which is always good. They cater for events and party/groups. Looked fun so definitely consider this place for that. Didn't take any pictures but I promise definitely worth a visit. We found this place as it was halfway point and we wanted a little upper class restaurant. And they succeeded.

Hidden gem. If you vist the area I highly recommend staying here. On arrival we were greeted by the fabulous Sue. Immaculate room and very comfortable bed. Evening meals and breakfast were 1st class. Bar staff very friendly (Peter) and offered loads of advice to us. We will be back.
We had a burger and fries and a roast dinner. The food was really well cooked and tasty and Plenty of it too. Caramel churros and apple crumble for dessert. Both delicious! Lots of outdoor space and relaxing environment. Clean and smart looking. Staff friendly and good service. Highly recommended
