About us

It is located in the small country village of Worth, only a mile or so from the medieval cinque port of Sandwich, in an area that was notorious for smugglers, who were known to frequent the inn. The St Crispin has seen many changes over the years but its historic character remains unchanged.

We look forward to offering you a friendly welcome here at the St Crispin Inn. If it’s for a weekend getaway, your wedding, a golfing break (we are situated 5 minutes from the famous Royal St Georges golf course where the British Open has been held (2003/2011) and the Royal Cinque Ports courses.) Or a stopover for business or ferry travel (10 minutes from the port of Dover). We are sure you will enjoy great hospitality that has become our reputation.

For those special occasions we are happy to arrange private parties, BBQs, buffets and weddings. We have a huge marquee in our beautiful large garden which can accommodate larger functions including wedding receptions, but for smaller intimate occasions we have our cosy restaurant area.

Rated as a 4 star inn by enjoyengland.com on behalf of the English Tourist Council Winner – White Cliffs Tourism Association “pub of the year” Awarded 4.5 stars by Trip Advisor 2012.

We went for a Friday evening treat. Sadly, the starter and main were both disappointing. We had read the reviews and were expecting good quality, tasty pub food. Unfortunately, the meals we had were bland, overcooked, and lacking in care. With a little attention to detail, the dishes could have been so much more. We did not bother to have a dessert or coffee as our expectations were already shattered.

Had a Sunday roast here today, absolute perfection. A warm and buzzy atmosphere in the pub, friendly service, food was delicious! Cannot recommend enough will be coming back asap!

First visit today. Table for 3. First class lunch. Great menu and superb food. Huge fish and chips, delicate spicy bean stew and luxurious beef. Excellent. Can’t wait to go

Wheel chair accessible pub and dog friendly... So we called this morning to see if there was a reservation for 5 people today and although we left it late, the gent on the phone managed to squeeze us in at 12:30pm for a Sunday lunch which we are super grateful for as it can get busy. We turned up with my Dad who is in a wheelchair chair and has a dog, and to note, there is a small step in the back entrance but this is easy to overcome in a wheelchair. They opened the double doors and we were sat at our table. We all had a roast dinner which was a choice between Chicken, Beef or Lamb or you can have all 3 (a St Crispin Roast, which Dad had). Every single one of us said how amazing the dinner was and was one of the best roasts we have had in a pub before, it was just perfect. Our dog just sat and chilled. Dessert was also amazing, and we could not fault the service for the ladies and gent. Just a big thank you to the team and the locals who made us felt so welcome, such a lovely pub and we will only be bringing our Dad back here because of todays experience. Thanks again and see you soon!!

Fantastic roast on a Sunday. We were a large group and every dish was tasty, colourful and plentiful! The room to the side of the main bar was hot and the music was loud but we were able to open the fire escape door to release some of the heat and the staff were happy to turn the music down so we could all hear each other. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We are proud to present the restaurant to our customers, with it’s light and warm decor and air conditioning. The scene is set to enjoy some good traditional English food and all of our produce is locally sourced from local suppliers and we always strive to harvest the best Kent and England has to offer.

We have several fantastic qualified chefs in the kitchen who are always keen to create dishes and present the best food to you for your enjoyment.

We recommend that customers book tables for the restaurant to avoid disappointment and intolerances can easily be catered for with prior notice.

Sunday lunches are served between 12 noon and 4pm and we offer a traditional homecooked roast dinner with a choice of meats.
