Not local but was happy to stop for few drinks as the place seemed warm a d welcoming and busy on cold and windy night. Good beer choice. Cheep spoons prices. Tons of food options (sadly pizza was not available when requested). Friendly local crowd.
I didn't eat on this visit. An interesting location on Foregate Street because this would have been the fore gate when the city was part of the Roman empire. Not the busiest spoons, but friendly enough service. Good quality ale. I didn't see a rear beer garden.
Came for some food the food was okay and we came for drinks staff were friendly was a nice atmosphere always come here when in Chester cheapest beer and cocktails around grate place to start the night out of
I recently ordered the BBO beef burger which came with Onion Rings, Chips & a Pint. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It was not the best burger I've ever had, but it was definitely above average. The onion rings and chips were also very good, and the pint of beer was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this meal to anyone looking for a casual dining option.
It is located along the shopping area, and it's busy mostly at meal times! Staff is friendly and efficient during our visit! Though some food items are cooked well but the pizza is below their usual standard! Drinks on promotion are a good deal
