such a lovely cosy pub, great for families or couples really lovely decoration inside with a log fire in the middle! we felt right at home when we arrived and wasn’t too busy at all which was a shock! food was amazing one of the best meals we’ve had in a while - the steak pie and venison with dauphinois potatoes were just perfect!! great portion sizes and really good value for money - think we spent around £55 for two of us for a main and drink each - and we shared a starter. Good selection of drinks would definitely return if in the area in the future! could not recommend more if you’re staying in dartmouth
Great pub and fabulous Sunday carvery, just like your own home cooked roast, plenty of it too. It's even better now they have put a proper door on the conservatory and have a heater blowing hot air, toasty warm. We love it because we can take our little dog with us and in the summer its great because the kids can play outside in the garden and the dog get a walk. The views are beautiful too and the flowers they have outside in the summer are absolutely gorgeous. 10 out of 10. Staff are all friendly and helpful and it's got a nice relaxing atmosphere 👌 What more can you want. Obviously it can get quite busy so best to book on a Sunday.
Been here three times this week 1st off for some drinks and then Friday morning for breakfast and finally today for Tea. Absolutely amazing. If your in the area I would recommend stopping here. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Nothing is too much for them.
Great relaxing atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and even get the kids drinks out for them to choose from. Handy being right next to the road to Dartmouth. Massive car park that can accommodate cars with caravans. Perfect venue if you want to celebrate an occasion. Bus stop right outside. Huge beer garden with a decent children’s climbing frame with slide and tunnel and enclosed from the road.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Ticks all the boxes! Had to return the next day and enjoyed it as much as the first time.
