Friendly staff and good beer. What's not to like
I feel honoured to be drinking in a pub home of the British National Domino Champions 1986, it’s a wonder they could see the spots with the great choice of beers on sale! Tucked away off the Main Street and only a stones throw from the birthplace of Robert Owen, this place is a must for any real ale drinker. Can’t comment on the atmosphere due to limited numbers in today. Get down here and fill your boots!

Great welcoming boozer... Dog friendly and they made a fuss of our Pickle the black pug. Lady behind the bar was spoiling him rotten with dog treats. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in mid Wales
Great pub! Barmaid helped us pick the best cider I ve tasted so far.
