This is a decent Wetherspoons, serving quick food that tastes good. The young staff are excellent and the range of drink prices and deals are fantastic. I don't know how Wetherspoons continue to offer reasonable prices while the rest of the service industry continues to rip us all off. The only thing I can think is that they have cut back on housekeeping as this place is starting to look a bit jaded.
I've never eaten at Meadow Hall sheffield before. I will again. Quick efficient service. Hot food. Only waited 7 minutes for our order to come out. It was busy, but they still have plenty of spaces to sit. I had chicken nuggets and chips with coleslaw and a diet coke, and the chicken tasted really nice. My partner had an American beef burger, which he said was moist and tasty.
The guy who served me was soooo friendly. Only down thing is all coffee machines are at other end of bar but apart from that I can't really fault it....
Food was really nice. Service was quite quick but the level of hygiene displayed in the preparation area was very poor. What we saw should not happen in any kitchen area. Using clean plates as arm rest placing tablet which several people had handled on to clean plates
The food was absolutely diabolical and in the end I was given a refund...... there was so much grease and chicken juices the chips were mushy and we're more like mashed potatoes. The place was overcrowded with tables and customers kept banging into each other.
