Great Park, great facilities with rare breeds animal farm. Parking off peak okay but at main times can be tricky. Make sure that if you park on a grass verge next to double yellows you can still get a ticket. This park is one of my favourite sheffield parks and is featured in my book...soyouknow Sheffield Smiler...(sorry for the plug..but it helps donations to 2 charities from me) It features the families of parakeets that have made it their home. Woodpeckers and deer have also been seen in this park. Great woodland paths in this largest of Sheffield parks. Plus 2 small ponds. Cafe and play areas also. Great for a family picnic on a fine day. Its a special place.

My favourite park in Sheffield! Lovely park with animal farm, duck pond, Rose Garden Cafe (takeaway only at the moment), golf course section, woodland, football pitches, cricket pitches, bowling green, two playgrounds, tennis courts and arboretum! There are toilets by the cafe which are open when the cafe is open. Great for dog walkers and runners who can handle the hills!

Great place for a walk, lots of open green areas perfect for picnics, games etc. Some lovely walks around as well. There are some toilets which are dated and could do with a good clean but they are functional
